  • If your goal is to become an athlete, change it to “become a locally known athlete.”

According to Brian Bonar, even if you don’t fully achieve these goals, just trying to achieve them will motivate you. This will allow you to evolve much more quickly than if you had set yourself small goals at your height. And what once seemed difficult to you will become easy for you!

Brian Bonar suggests that that you must have more than basic reasons to maintain sufficient willpower to accomplish your goals. Dig deep and find the real reasons that will drive you to put in the effort to get what you want.

For example, if you want more money, ask yourself why and what you will do with it. You may find that you want to go on vacation every year, which is already clearer. From there, budget your vacation and seek to achieve that amount of money that will allow you to achieve this goal.
